AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure that keeps the cloud running.

What you will do

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to develop scalable software solutions.
  • Drive system designs and make design decisions considering trade-offs.
  • Find innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across many time zones.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
