What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms and environments.
• Translate strategic cloud goals into actionable engineering plans aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance models, and operational procedures.
• Oversee the implementation of automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
• Manage cloud cost optimization initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and usage analysis.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, and application development teams to ensure cohesive cloud strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, or DevOps roles.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and service mesh technologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Australia.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
