What you will do

• Design and validate causal models such as Difference-in-Differences (DiD), Synthetic Control, and Causal Forests to evaluate business initiatives.
• Implement and manage Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), ensuring robust experimental design and proper allocation of groups.
• Apply advanced statistical methods to observational data to identify and quantify causal relationships.
• Define causal estimation methodologies aligned with business context and data quality standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of analytical processes, models, and experiments.
• Translate complex technical analyses into understandable reports and presentations for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience applying causal inference models, experimentation (RCTs), and machine learning.
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and applied econometrics (Potential Outcomes, selection bias, SUTVA).
• Advanced proficiency in Python (econml, causalml, dowhy, scikit-learn) and R (did, fixest, CausalImpact).
• Advanced SQL and PySpark skills for analyzing large datasets in distributed environments.
• Experience with the Azure suite, specifically Databricks and Azure DevOps.
• Must be based in Mexico

• Proficiency in AI tooling to optimize and automate daily research and analysis workflows.
