TL;DR
Data Science Professional (AI): Developing and deploying data-driven models and AI solutions across MLOps, business analytics, and Generative AI with an accent on scalability and actionable insights. Focus on building robust data pipelines, integrating LLM-based approaches into workflows, and optimizing ETL processes.
Location: Must be based in LATAM. 100% remote work is available for residents of the region, or onsite in Montevideo (Uruguay) or Bogotá (Colombia).

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy data-driven models and AI solutions.
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines and model workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
- Perform statistical analyses and create dashboards to communicate results effectively.
- Ensure code quality, reproducibility, and scalability in production environments.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Must be currently living in LATAM.
Nice to have
- Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Airflow, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, LLM fine-tuning).
- Knowledge of big data frameworks such as PySpark, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
