What you will do

• Support month-end close and accounting standardization across US and regional entities.
• Prepare journals and perform high-quality balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow to explain variances in alignment with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Facilities, and audit and compliance stakeholders.
• Manage payroll, taxes, and compliance within a multi-entity setup.

Requirements

• Experience in core accounting, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate ledgers and support certification and controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Workday, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• English (B2+) and Spanish fluency for effective reporting and collaboration across the Americas.
• Must be based in Medellín, Colombia for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience standardizing close processes or automating treasury workflows.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and local tax nuances in US and LATAM jurisdictions.
• Exposure to Brazilian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
