What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audit partners and oversee quarterly audits.
• Manage tax compliance, including transfer pricing, VAT, WHT recovery, and income tax computations.
• Mentor and manage the local accounting team and collaborate with HR on payroll management.
• Maintain internal controls (SOX compliance) and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and automate financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Must be accountant certified locally.
• Native Spanish speaker with advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, LOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or SQL.
