What you will do

• Manage the Data Science team to implement statistical, Data Science, and AI methodologies for continuous process improvement.
• Oversee the quality and research rigor of data products, including weighting, fusion, calibration, and attribution processes.
• Develop new approaches for data mining and usability by leveraging diverse internal and external information sources.
• Produce and vet advanced analytical reports and simulations with direct business impact for clients.
• Support organization-wide automation projects to drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar data science or statistical role.
• Expertise in theoretical and applied statistics, including sample design, modeling, and forecasting.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and R.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Toronto, ON.

Nice to have

• Accredited Statistician or Advanced Data Science certifications.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and synthetic population frameworks.
