What you will do

• Design, deploy, and optimize innovative technical controls to detect and prevent security incidents.
• Engineer custom detection logic, integrate threat intelligence, and automate operations via SOAR and Agentic AI playbooks.
• Lead and contribute to incident response efforts and conduct tabletop exercises.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate security best practices into products and processes.
• Conduct thesis-driven threat hunts across forensic data lakes.
• Research the threat landscape and engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, information security, or IT engineering.
• Experience securing cloud-native environments and managing cloud/endpoint security operations.
• Ability to craft automation using Go, Python, or Shell.
• Strong technical investigative mindset with a bias for macOS or Linux technology.
• Proficiency in cloud forensics and incident response.
