What you will do

• Interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material and assembly requirements.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment.
• Run wire and cable according to schematics and blueprints.
• Repair or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and circuits for resistance and operation.
• Mark and tag components to maintain accurate stock inventory tracking.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical components or completion of a technical vocational program.
• Ability to interpret engineering diagrams and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with tools such as tape measures, impact drills, and wire crimpers.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
