TSSC Integration Specialist (C++)

What you will do

• Implement, test, and document instructional systems software for various flight training devices.
• Improve simulator models and algorithms, and design flight simulator architectures and networks.
• Troubleshoot software anomalies and issues with simulator equipment and interfaces.
• Manage and install Linux and Windows platforms and applications for flight simulators.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers, Flightcrew Instructors, and SMEs to evaluate software implementation.
• Manage software baselines, including branching, merging, building, and installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0-3 years of software development experience post-degree (C++ preferred).
• Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX (Solaris), programming languages (C/C++, FORTRAN, Ada), and Visual Studio.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
• Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with simulation systems and Linux development environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization solutions (VMware, KVM) and containerized delivery (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GCC, Cmake, and algorithm performance design.
• Security+ Certification.
