What you will do
- Lead the technical strategy and architecture for virtual tooling, emulators, and simulation infrastructure across multiple organizations.
- Implement production-quality code, prototypes, and VirtIO drivers to enhance virtual test fidelity.
- Drive the adoption of virtual test capabilities within developer inner-loop workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and customize KVM, QEMU, and Android Emulators using cloud services.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, coaching, and technical guidance to strengthen domain expertise.
- Partner with SREs and product managers to align priorities and remove adoption barriers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience automating testing for low-level, embedded, or mobile products at scale.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in systems, embedded, or mobile software.
- Expertise in configuring QEMU, Android Emulators, and VirtIO drivers.
