Salary: CA$112,000 - CA$168,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and scope ML use cases from the ground up to optimize real business value for global brands.
• Build and own the full ML pipeline, managing raw data transformation, model training, and activation.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance to customers to ensure model performance and successful adoption.
• Develop features and tools to scale capabilities for the broader AI deployment team.
• Partner with the Product team to refine and advance reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Shape the hirify.globalAI product strategy and roadmap using customer-facing technical insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas) and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost).
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large-scale datasets.
• Experience with engineering best practices including Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Toronto, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GCP.
• Expertise in data integration/ETL and pipeline optimization.
• Experience with reinforcement learning algorithms.
