Machine Learning Analyst (AI)

TL;DR

Machine Learning Analyst (AI/ML): Developing innovative AI/ML solutions to complex business challenges with an accent on Generative AI, Large Language Models, and scalable computational resources. Focus on building RAG pipelines, conducting exploratory data analysis, and deploying production ML models using AWS and Snowflake.

Location: Must have current work authorization for Canada. Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto (transitioning to Mississauga in late 2026).

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Develop ML-based software solutions and conduct applied research to identify optimal algorithms for business use cases.
• Build and evaluate Generative AI and LLM solutions, including prompt engineering, RAG, and conversational AI.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, data pre-processing, and transformation using Snowflake.
• Collaborate in agile scrum teams to prototype, benchmark, and implement high-impact AI solutions.
• Design and monitor ML environments and ensure robust version control of models.
• Iterate on model performance through error analysis, feature refinement, and prompt evaluation.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence, or applied machine learning.
• Proficiency with Python (PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and strong SQL skills.
• Practical experience with LLM workflows, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, embeddings, and vector search.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Machine Learning or AWS Certified Data Analytics certifications.
• Experience deploying ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker.
• Knowledge of Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course (CSI) certification.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex or native AI/ML capabilities.
