Salary: $125,000 - $142,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain game features for MapleStory.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to implement creative visions.
• Optimize game performance and resolve bugs for seamless player experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years as software engineer in online game development or related field
• 3+ years C++ development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in C++ with strong understanding of online game development, mechanics, and user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and understand complex systems.

Nice to have

• Passionate about MapleStory with deep knowledge of its gameplay and community.
• Prior experience on live online games with large user bases.
• Experience with client-server architecture.
• Experience with scripting languages like Lua or Python.
• Proficient in Korean.
