What you will do

• Perform initial credentialing and recredentialing for providers in accordance with NCQA standards and regulations.
• Review provider applications for completeness and accuracy to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
• Conduct primary source verifications for licensure, board certification, education, and sanctions.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and audit-ready provider data within the credentialing platform.
• Proactively identify and escalate delays or risk factors that may impact credentialing timelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing with end-to-end workflow knowledge.
• Strong working knowledge of NCQA standards and documentation requirements.
• Experience with platforms such as CAQH, Verifiable, or MD-Staff.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify/Form I-9)

Nice to have

• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification.
• Experience supporting behavioral health or multi-state provider groups.
