Salary: $85,000 - $108,000

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve critical issues impacting payroll runs, taxes, benefits, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate data flow between Bob and integrated payroll systems.
• Advise customers on US payroll compliance, configurations, and best practices.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer payroll challenges into product improvements.
• Identify system misconfigurations and potential risks to prevent payroll errors.
• Own payroll-related escalations and act as the primary subject matter expert for customers.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in Payroll, HRIS, or Payroll Support roles.
• Strong understanding of US payroll processes and compliance considerations.
• Experience troubleshooting payroll systems or integrations.
• Must be based in the EST time zone.
• Authorized to work in specific US states (CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA).

Nice to have

• Experience with platforms such as ADP, Gusto, Workday, or Paylocity.
• Exposure to APIs or system integrations.
• Background in SaaS customer support, implementation, or onboarding.
