What you will do

• Lead incident response for critical (Sev1) events and own the resolution of complex production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to improve overall system reliability.
• Act as a subject matter expert for platform APIs, integrations, and customer environments.
• Mentor production support engineers through technical deep dives and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively monitor production health and recommend automation or preventive improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and post-incident reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 5+ years of experience in production support or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and tools used to interact with them.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases and scripting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues end-to-end and lead during high-pressure incidents.

Nice to have

• Understanding of VoIP technologies.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP).
