What you will do

• Build, install, and troubleshoot complex computer and network systems independently and as part of a team.
• Perform racking, cabling, software installation, and system verification at customer sites.
• Configure and tune software applications and software-defined solutions.
• Develop implementation documentation and provide training for deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise for commercial and public sector opportunities.
• Support local technical repair engineers and maintain full documentation of all work performed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• US citizenship required.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in Linux TCP/IP configuration and RAID technologies (md, lvm).
• Familiarity with systemd, firewalld, and kickstart installation.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have

• Red Hat RHCSA or SUSE Certified Engineer certifications.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Knowledge of software-defined storage like Ceph and Lustre.
• Experience with GPUs and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, OPA).
• Skill with HPC provisioning (ClusterWare, xCAT, Bright) and schedulers (Slurm, PBS).
• Possession of or ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.
