What you will do

• Conduct regular individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive records.
• Perform intake/readmission services and provide supportive follow-up counseling.
• Execute crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Orient patients to program operations and assess social, educational, and vocational needs.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local, and accrediting agency regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services or a related field.
• Required licensure: PADC, CADC, LCDP, LADC, or LCADC.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Westerly, RI.
• Ability to make decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues.
• Strong knowledge of substance abuse populations and rehabilitation treatment planning.
• Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions in stressful situations.
