What you will do

• Complete end-to-end prior authorizations for specialty medications.
• Source financial assistance for patients and process pharmacy claims.
• Coordinate medication dispensing, shipping, ordering, and labeling.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Improve the patient experience by resolving questions and requests.

Requirements

• Mastery of core pharmacy technician skills, including claims processing and dispensing.
• Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation and prior authorizations.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems such as QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, or WAM.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
• Pharmacy technician, LPN, or similar licensure required in the state of employment.
• CPhT national certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, NextGen, etc.).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy systems (Therigy, Asembia1, ScriptMed, etc.).
• Knowledge of medications for autoimmune, endocrinology, and oncology.
