What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure automation.
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Maintain and extend infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
• Support and tune database operations for PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery, Bigtable, and Firestore.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability across production systems.
• Manage compliance and security requirements, specifically HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with a focus on infrastructure or DevOps.
• Strong expertise with Terraform/Terraform Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience operating and scaling relational and NoSQL databases.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go and Python.
• Experience with healthcare-specific infrastructure (HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, HITRUST).
• Experience with incident management tools like incident.io.
• Startup experience.
