🦄 Description
Anshar Studios is developing a new RPG and action shooter title in Unreal Engine 5 and is looking for a Cinematic Animator to take ownership of the in-engine cutscene pipeline. This role focuses on delivering high-quality narrative sequences, from early previs to final implementation. You will work closely with animators and the creative team to ensure cinematic storytelling meets the highest standards.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Design and deliver narrative sequences from previs to final in-engine implementation
• Create storyboards, animatics, and camera animations
• Assemble sequences in Unreal Sequencer with animation, audio, and VFX
• Collaborate with creative teams on narrative and cinematic direction
• Support and block out mocap-driven character animation
• Iterate on sequences based on feedback or work independently

📚 Required Skills
• Extensive professional experience in character animation for games or film
• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, camera work, and editing
• Experience with first-person perspective animation
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine tools such as Sequencer, Control Rig, MetaHuman
• Experience with motion capture workflows including cleanup and retargeting
• Skills in acting and emotional performance animation
• Basic rigging and skinning knowledge

👍 Nice to Have
• 5+ years of experience in animation
• Experience in animation direction or mocap performance
• Experience on shipped AA or AAA titles
• Strong technical and creative expertise
• Background in related fields such as narrative or art direction
