TL;DR

Clinical Support Specialist (Medtech): Managing outbound and inbound clinical communications to optimize patient outcomes using a SaaS platform with an accent on medication management and patient engagement. Focus on resolving medication-related issues, coordinating with providers and pharmacies, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation.

Location: Remote (US), must live in and be eligible to work in the United States. Required to attend on-site meetings multiple times per year.

What you will do

  • Perform outbound calls to patients, providers, and pharmacies to intervene in clinical cases.
  • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound call queues while maintaining service quality.
  • Coordinate with pharmacists to escalate medication-related and health-related issues.
  • Document all patient interactions and clinical interventions accurately within the SaaS platform.
  • Schedule telephonic or videoconference appointments between patients and clinical pharmacists.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Care team to optimize workflows and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field (preferred) or equivalent healthcare/call center experience.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and brand/generic medication names.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Mac environment, and contact-center tools (e.g., Five9, Slack).
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week within 6AM-6PM Pacific Time, including rotating Saturdays.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare certification (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Technician, Certified Medical Assistant).
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Experience in ambulatory care or high-volume healthcare call centers.
