Project Manager (Software Delivery)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Software Delivery): Leading and completing an inflight technical project with an accent on software delivery and platform re-platforming. Focus on managing complex stakeholder relationships and coordinating 3rd party vendors within an SME environment.

Location: Must be based in the UK and able to commit to 4 days per week onsite in York (1 day remote)

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum / £475 - £500 per day

What you will do

• Take over an existing inflight technical project and drive it to successful completion.
• Manage the delivery of software or platform/re-platforming initiatives.
• Coordinate between internal technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
• Oversee and manage 3rd party vendors and partners.
• Ensure delivery milestones are met within the specific constraints of an SME-sized organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior Project Manager role.
• Strong background in technical delivery, specifically within software or platform environments.
• Demonstrated experience in managing 3rd party vendors.
• Experience working within SME-sized organizations (candidates from exclusively large corporate backgrounds may not be suitable).
• Advanced stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in York 4 days per week.
