hirify.global is an open-source Postgres development platform providing a comprehensive backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, and Vector Search.

What you will do

  • Audit existing infrastructure to identify cloud-specific dependencies and create a structured migration backlog.
  • Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers.
  • Maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to ensure portability across various cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with platform and product teams to ensure new features are built with multi-cloud portability.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions regarding target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure options.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and running it across multiple environments.
  • Experience with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tooling.
  • Practical experience with cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within asynchronous or globally distributed teams.
