What you will do

• Drive new product development for assigned product lines based on Program Director priorities.
• Lead the requirements process, capturing customer, user, regulatory, and business needs.
• Manage the quality and timeliness of development deliverables across multiple projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and manage direct/indirect engineering staff.
• Establish, justify, and control monthly project budgets.
• Ensure strict compliance with all R&D SOPs and Guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or hard sciences.
• Demonstrated experience in a development capacity as a matrixed, cross-disciplinary partner.
• Must be based in Irvine, CA.
• Knowledge of global standards and regulations for Design Controls, Risk Management, and Electrical Safety for Medical Devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to multitask.

• Master's Degree or PhD.
• Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) certification.
