What you will do

• Lead the Compliance Department's Case Management to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service.
• Analyze trends to identify emerging risks and implement solutions such as system enhancements or updated SOPs.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex compliance scenarios, collaborating across various departments.
• Manage regulatory requirements (ATR/QM, APR) using Encompass and Mavent controls.
• Coordinate the collection and presentation of materials for the quarterly Compliance Committee.
• Manage compliance staff, setting clear standards, goals, and performance objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of experience in a financial institution.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management and consumer compliance specifically related to mortgage originations.
• Expert knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations (Dodd Frank, RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, GLBA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, and SAFE Act).
• Experience with Loan Operations including Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and QA.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
