Salary: $112,800 – $257,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of secure systems capable of withstanding advanced cyber threats for defense clients.
• Coordinate with government groups and contractor partners to translate IT needs into actionable secure solution plans.
• Implement system hardening techniques and reduce attack surfaces across critical infrastructure.
• Lead network design efforts, providing secure alternatives that balance mission needs with security requirements.
• Investigate and implement emerging security techniques to replace legacy models with industry-leading solutions.

Requirements

• Secret clearance is required.
• 8+ years of experience with SCAP, STIG, and hardening implementation.
• 5+ years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM.
• 2+ years of experience securing Kubernetes containers and applying security controls in Cloud or hybrid environments.
• 2+ years of experience with DevSecOps pipeline security tools, scanning, and reporting.
• 2+ years of experience with automation scripting for Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and supporting IaC.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and DoD 8570 IAM II or higher certification (e.g., SecurityX, CISM, or CISSP).

Nice to have

• Experience developing SSP or ATO packages for Microsoft Azure DoD Cloud.
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or a technical field.
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
