Salary: $152,000 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and build AI tooling, including APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools, to democratize AI capabilities across the organization.
• Establish production-grade standards for reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence for AI implementations.
• Coach and lead cross-functional teams in implementing AI-augmented processes and workflows.
• Develop documentation, best practices, and enablement materials to accelerate AI adoption.
• Build measurement frameworks and feedback loops to track AI effectiveness and ROI.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, and Security teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with a proven ability to build scalable platforms and developer tools.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI tooling, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
• Deep expertise in data engineering architecture (RDBMS, Spark/Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Data Mesh).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, specifically regarding observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
• Ability to work across different time zones and handle odd hours as necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to teach and guide teams through complex technology adoption.
