What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable data, analytics, and AI platforms for global customer operations.
• Architect and optimize Databricks-based data pipelines to unify operational and AI datasets into intelligence solutions.
• Drive the development of ML, NLP, and Generative AI capabilities to improve customer experience and automation performance.
• Deliver actionable insights and executive-level reporting to inform strategic business decision-making.
• Establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and CI/CD best practices for data quality and AI lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engineers and data scientists.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Strong experience designing scalable data platforms and Databricks-based operational intelligence solutions.
• Proven track record as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or AI Engineer in a technical leadership role.
• Proficiency with Python, Spark, and modern data science frameworks.
• Deep understanding of conversational AI ecosystems, intent modeling, and NLU analytics.
• Experience implementing CI/CD frameworks, version control, and DevOps best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI, LLM orchestration, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of contact center platforms such as Zendesk, Five9, or Amelia.
