What you will do

• Lead SEO strategy and execution for multiple simultaneous website migrations across a portfolio of university partner sites.
• Define and operationalize scalable migration frameworks, playbooks, and governance models, including URL and redirect mapping.
• Provide strategic recommendations for information architecture and conduct comprehensive content audits (retain, refresh, retire).
• Drive on-page optimization and implement strategies to improve visibility in AI-driven search environments (AEO).
• Partner with Engineering, MarTech, and Front-End teams to optimize Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, and structured data.
• Analyze organic performance trends pre/post-migration and communicate actionable insights to leadership.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in organic performance optimization for enterprise, agency, or multi-site ecosystems.
• Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale website migrations and platform transitions.
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, including site architecture, URL structures, and indexation.
• Strong analytical capability to translate performance data into prioritized SEO recommendations.
• Experience collaborating closely with UX, design, and engineering teams to influence site performance.
• Must be based in the US

• Experience optimizing for AI-driven search experiences, including AEO or generative search environments.
• Experience improving CMS/DXP templates and components at scale.
• Experience building repeatable frameworks or governance models for large-scale digital initiatives.
• Background working in higher education or complex, multi-brand ecosystems.
