Data Engineer - Finance Solutions Team (Ad-Tech)

Location: Montpellier, hybrid (2 days remote per week)

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, extendable data models for team use.
• Build reliable data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and dashboards for key financial metrics like revenue, usage, and costs.
• Serve as technical liaison translating analytics needs into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics engineering, ideally in finance or customer management
• Strong SQL expertise
• Strong experience with Google data stack: BigQuery, Looker
• Experience with dbt and orchestration like Apache Airflow
• Good Python knowledge for data tasks
• Proficiency in building dashboards and reports
• Experience managing client-facing projects and troubleshooting

Nice to have

• Ad-Tech industry experience
• Finance/Accounting operations experience
• Java or Scala software writing experience
