What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend and API-driven applications for high-performance payment processing.
• Build and enhance APIs and complex payment workflows.
• Implement automation across testing, deployment, and operational processes.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and high-quality delivery within a DevOps environment.
• Provide functional and technical support for applications in production.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 21), Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and Linux.
• Proficiency with NoSQL (Cassandra), Kafka, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and mTLS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Utrecht, Netherlands in a hybrid format.
