What you will do
- Track and maintain visibility into organizations' Kotlin adoption stages (not started, evaluating, experimenting, production).
- Proactively engage organizations across adoption phases and recommend tailored high-level strategies.
- Identify and document blockers hindering progress and propose solutions.
- Establish and manage feedback loops with development teams for continuous alignment and improvement.
- Communicate with prospective users on Kotlin adoption processes and design migration paths.
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, and JVM ecosystem.
- Proven experience migrating Java backend codebases to Kotlin.
- Experience with Spring (Boot) or similar frameworks (Quarkus, Micronaut, Ktor).
- Solid understanding of build tools (Maven, Gradle) and project structuring.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineering, Developer Advocacy, Technical Consulting).
- Ability to lead workshops, demos, talks, and outbound engagement with engineering teams.
- Experience designing backend systems with architectural patterns (monolith, modulith, microservices).
