What you will do

• Run and maintain a suite of editorial tools to ensure high-quality manuscript output.
• Perform quick-turnaround copyedits, line edits, proofreading, and beta-reading as needed.
• Review manuscripts to ensure they meet the company's quality criteria.
• Collaborate with the Content Team to support and improve overall editorial processes.
• Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for the improvement of internal editing tools.

Requirements

• Native English speaker.
• Must be based in the US (Remote).
• Minimum 3 years of professional editing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in editing fiction.
• Excellent copyediting skills and basic understanding of quantitative reasoning.
• Keen interest in utilizing AI to assist in editorial processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Romance and its subgenres (Paranormal, Contemporary, Erotica).
• Experience with AI models and excitement about exploring new AI implementations.
• Living in or near San Francisco.
