What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Lead the end-to-end migration of workloads to AWS while maintaining system stability.
• Build internal developer platforms and tooling to reduce overhead and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Partner with development teams to architect secure, resilient, and highly available applications.
• Own the hosting infrastructure for WordPress sites and their backends to ensure performance and security.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for rapid incident response.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience deploying and operating high-traffic, scalable web applications in production.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Serverless services (Cognito, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB).
• Mastery of TypeScript and AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.
• Advanced scripting skills in Linux/Unix environments (Shell, Python, Ruby, or similar).
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD tooling, pipeline design, and Git workflows.
• Experience with Multi-Account cloud strategies using Amazon Organizations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AI tools to optimize daily research, analysis, and process automation.
• Experience designing with least-privilege and defense-in-depth security principles.
• Practical experience with FinOps, including cost forecasting and billing optimization.
