What you will do
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of the build system to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee the configuration and management of multiple development environments to ensure consistency across teams.
- Define and enforce development processes and best practices to improve efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Spearhead the production deployment strategy, implementing robust rollback mechanisms and monitoring solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the DevOps team, fostering growth in DevOps principles and technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization on AWS.
Requirements
- Must be based in Argentina.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale Node.js applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines tailored for Node.js projects.
- English: Business-level fluency (read, write, and speak) required.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi.
- Proactive embrace of AI and fluency in emerging technologies to elevate workflows.
