What you will do

• Manage and prioritize daily fabrication tasks and project workloads for the technician team.
• Lead the fabrication, integration, and validation of complex systems involving SMPTE 2110, PTP timing, and fiber infrastructure.
• Interpret and update CAD-based engineering drawings and provide milestone reporting to leadership.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all systems meet zero-defect standards before release.
• Oversee the final kitting process, documentation verification, and handoff to logistics and supply chain.
• Mentor fabrication technicians at all levels to drive skill development and operational consistency.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Santa Clara, CA
• 8–10 years of AV or broadcast fabrication and integration experience.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and updating CAD-based engineering drawings.
• Expertise in fiber fabrication, termination, and troubleshooting IP media fabrics (SMPTE 2110, AES67).
• AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical certification.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Dante Level 3, SMPTE, or IPMX certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud media infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
