Location: Mostly remote (EU work permit required, occasional physical meetups, Barcelona base)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end platform development with backend emphasis on APIs, data models, PostgreSQL, and services.
• Design system architecture, service boundaries, and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and integrate frontend features using React, Next.js, ensuring performance and test coverage.
• Implement authentication with Auth0 and maintain high-quality, scalable code.
• Collaborate in a small remote team, taking projects from concept to execution.

Requirements

• Valid EU work permit and professional proficiency in verbal/written English
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
• 7+ years in modern full-stack development
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, relational databases, cloud engineering, authentication
• Experience with unit/integration/E2E/load testing, modern practices
• Proactive, self-driven, strong communicator in small team environment

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, Prisma, tRPC, Playwright, Tailwind CSS
