What you will do

• Design and develop tooling to facilitate building, testing, and shipping the hirify.global Stack.
• Build and operate production services including downloads, Docker registry, and maps service.
• Support internal adoption of the hirify.global Stack for software development and analytics.
• Manage state, CI pipelines, and cloud resources through infrastructure-as-code.
• Act as internal software consultants to optimize business processes using hirify.global products.

Requirements

• Strong development background and proficiency in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Clojure, Haskell, Java, or Go).
• Hands-on experience in an SRE or equivalent operations role.
• Multiple years of experience administering Linux systems at scale in distributed environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Must be located in Spain, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, or the UK.
• Strong written communication habits for asynchronous work in a distributed environment.

Nice to have

• Open source contributions (libraries, patches, or documentation).
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, including syscall tracing and TCP internals.
• Experience operating a SaaS platform.
• Passion for community participation in open source projects.
