What you will do

• Examine material structures and properties using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and hardness testing.
• Determine the root cause of failures for various materials and components.
• Interpret testing data and write professional technical reports.
• Consult with internal customers to determine the appropriate type of analysis required.
• Assist with regular calibrations of laboratory equipment and maintain inventories.
• Apply Metallurgy Testing procedures, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Lab ISO standards.

Requirements

• Must be a Full-Time Student, preferably in a Metallurgy or Materials Engineering Bachelor’s program.
• Candidates in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Computer Science, or Physics are also considered.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strict attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" according to ITAR export control requirements.
