What you will do

• Develop RTL/VHDL code, scripts, and designer-level testbenches for FPGA design.
• Debug and simulate circuitware using Xilinx development tools and deliver RTL source code changes.
• Collaborate with systems and design engineers on concept of operations and design requirements.
• Support verification engineers with FPGA design verification.
• Contribute to design documentation and participate in milestone review materials and presentations.
• Maintain all data and drawings on secure internal networks following security guidance.

Requirements

• 9+ years of related experience.
• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience synthesizing designs for Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGAs (UltraScale+, RT PolarFire, Versal, RTG4).
• Proficiency with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys tools across simulation, lint/CDC, and synthesis workflows.
• Design experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SpaceWire interfaces.
• Proficiency using Python for scripting and design support.
