What you will do

• Lead the research, design, and architecture of advanced neural networks for vectorized mapping and multi-camera BEV transformers.
• Implement a production-grade lane and route network mapping stack integrated with Perception, Behavior, Policy, and Prediction modules.
• Own the end-to-end data strategy, focusing on data curation, auto-labeling, synthetic data, and active learning pipelines.
• Develop robust metrics and evaluation frameworks for network accuracy and temporal consistency across various ODDs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex autonomy goals into clear software and system requirements.
• Drive major feature development from inception to deployment, including high-level architecture and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience developing and deploying ML/DL models for mapping or computer vision at scale.
• Deep expertise in BEV-based scene representation, Transformers, GNNs, and lane-level topology.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow, Python, and C++ within Linux-based development environments.
• Proven leadership in guiding technical roadmaps and driving measurable improvements in model performance.
• English: Strong communication skills required to lead technical discussions and align with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in ML/DL for autonomous driving or ADAS systems.
• Experience with self-supervised learning and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for auto-labeling.
• Expertise in ML optimization for real-time products (quantization, pruning, or distillation).
• A proven record of publications at top-tier conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ECCV, or ICLR.
