What you will do

• Conduct regular individual and group counseling sessions for alcohol and drug abuse.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans and maintain comprehensive clinical records.
• Perform intake, readmission services, and provide crisis intervention.
• Coordinate patient care with community providers and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Provide in-service training to staff regarding addiction and behavioral health.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services related field.
• Must possess current counseling credentials/licensure required by the state.
• Ability to make sound decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues.
• Strong knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning.
• Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions in stressful situations.
