What you will do

• Design and develop backend RESTful API web services using Microservices architecture on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to development and support groups.
• Oversee and mentor other developers and conduct code reviews.
• Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems.
• Drive the delivery of business-valuable features within cross-functional Agile project teams.
• Establish and maintain high software quality standards and best practices across the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 17+ and SpringBoot RESTful API development.
• Strong experience deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency with message streaming solutions like AWS Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with datastores including AWS Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GoCD.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL.
