What you will do

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle software from inception to production.
• Drive complex changes involving multiple components in a distributed system.
• Deliver quality changes with automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with team members to implement and maintain product features.
• Guide and review changes aligned with product roadmaps.
• Understand business objectives, system architecture, and lead through mentorship or hiring.

Requirements

• Comfortable working on agile, distributed team across multiple time zones and continents.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in computer science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of database engines (SQL Server, Postgres, AeroSpike, Vertica, Redis).
• Experience building microservices, operating systems, cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka.
