What you will do

• Review and provide technical advice on retail open market wordings, including Binding Authorities, Cover-holder, and broker wordings.
• Draft insurance policy wordings and maintain the central wording repository and associated reports.
• Ensure all product wordings follow applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Advise underwriters on emerging market, regulatory, or legal trends impacting product wording.
• Conduct post-bind thematic reviews of specific product lines.
• Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and boards to drive consensus and negotiations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of retail and direct-to-customer open market insurance business and general insurance terminology.
• Deep knowledge of FCA requirements, FOS outcomes, Consumer Duty, and conduct risk.
• Experience in legal contract or insurance policy drafting.
• Ability to explain sophisticated technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
• Must be based in the UK to support the hirify.global UK division.

• Knowledge and experience with Acturis and/or Websure.
