Manager - Global Markets Infrastructure Advisory (Fintech): Overseeing compliance and non-financial risk for Global Markets business with an accent on regulatory insight and risk management. Location: Hybrid; must be based in the UK. Working pattern involves spending at least two days per week (40% of time) at one of the office sites in Edinburgh, Newport, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds, or Birmingham.
Salary: £84,051 - £93,390

What you will do
- Act as the Conduct & Compliance advisory business partner to Risk and Control Owner teams.
- Provide daily compliance advice to the Global Markets Front Office and related support functions.
- Translate regulatory requirements (FCA, PRA, EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR, FinSA, BFSA, Dodd-Frank) into clear, actionable obligations.
- Lead regulatory traceability exercises to map requirements, interpretations, and controls to evidentiary artefacts.
- Support the design and delivery of annual and new-joiner Compliance Training.
- Identify control deficiencies and help risk owners implement remediation actions following operational breaches.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, conduct risk, or regulatory risk.
- Solid understanding of Global Markets activities and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience delivering regulatory traceability, control frameworks, and compliance implementation.
- Deep knowledge of Compliance frameworks and emerging risk management technologies.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and provide independent constructive challenge.
