Senior Project Manager

TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (PM + Analyst hybrid): Own end-to-end delivery planning and execution on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives for a US on-demand logistics platform's accounting department with an accent on strategic planning, risk mitigation, and process optimization. Focus on driving agile engineering tasks, managing Jira tickets, and ensuring alignment with financial cycles and US Pacific time.

Location: Must be based in Brazil with the ability to align with US Pacific business hours. 100% remote.

What you will do

• Drive strategic, tactical, and operational planning for large-scale projects including tasks, deliverables, dependencies, and resources.
• Create and execute project plans covering scope, schedule, staffing, quality, risk, budget, and procurement.
• Mitigate risks, resolve issues, manage resources, and align initiatives to strategic objectives.
• Establish processes for intake, grooming, assignment, and management of engineering tasks and tickets in Jira.
• Review financials, monitor variances, manage change controls, and facilitate stakeholder meetings and reviews.
• Define and improve PM processes, methodologies, tools, and measure project performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading complex projects from initiation to completion.
• 5+ years in agile environments on projects or portfolios.
• Strong hands-on fluency with Jira (required) and other PM tools.
• Proficiency in project planning, risk management, and change control.
• Excellent executive-level stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and drive delivery teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• Professional English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Brazil with ability to align with US Pacific business hours.

Nice to have

• Basic SQL skills.
• Familiarity with accounting concepts.
