TL;DR

What you will do

• Design and implement Project Management processes and governance for engineering teams with no existing structure.
• Establish delivery standards, cadences, and rituals aligned with Agile and Scrum principles.
• Drive the adoption and consistent use of Jira and Confluence, defining workflows and reporting standards.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, and risks.
• Build and lead a small Project Management team and mentor team members.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing transparency on progress and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in technology-driven environments.
• Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies with practical application.
• Hands-on experience setting up Jira and Confluence workflows, boards, and reporting.
• Ability to build structure and teams from scratch in ambiguous environments.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for interaction with global stakeholders.
• Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed.

Nice to have

• Prior experience building or scaling a PMO.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior Project Managers.
• Background working with infrastructure, cloud, or engineering-heavy teams.
• Agile or Project Management certifications (CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP).
